Our main roles for volunteers will be working in the Women’s centre reception/ group work and fundraising activities.

If you do continue to be interested and don’t mind a wait,  we can  contact you when we have reviewed the volunteer service. Please let us know  if you are happy for us to contact you in the near future about possible opportunities.

I hope this helps and thank you for thinking of volunteering at Rotherham Rise.

We Are Recruiting Female Trustees

We are looking to recruit a representation of Women from across Rotherham and we are keen to enhance and reinforce Women from black, minority and ethnic community.

Our Trustees have an understanding of the needs and rights of women, children and young people affected by domestic violence and abuse. They bring their existing skills in finance, business, management and HR to the board and to support the manager in developing the strategic direction of the charity.

We need Trustees who are committed to the development and maintenance of women’s services that empower and protect women, to raising awareness and reducing the impact of domestic abuse in our communities, as well as working in partnership with other agencies to develop sustainable, holistic responses to the needs of women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

In order to assess the suitability of applicants prior to appointment, applicants are required to complete an application form, attend an interview with the manager and trustees, complete a DBS (formerly CRB) and provide references.
